Samsung Techwin offer new "winner" bullet camera
The SIR-4160 is one of the first Samsung Techwin cameras to be equipped with the latest generation “Winner” DSP chipset, the new ‘engine room’ of the company’s mid-range product offering. Delivering 600 TV lines with built-in IR LEDs and 2.8-10mm varifocal lens the SIR-4160 can capture quality images of objects or people in total darkness up to a distance of 50 metres. The brightness of the LEDs are automatically adjusted depending on the distance of the subject from the camera. The bullet is IP66 rated, has eight motion detection zones, privacy zone masking and is supplied complete with a power supply unit. Built-in coaxial control compatibility allows both video and telemetry to be transmitted via the coaxial cable, giving full access to the camera set-up via a compatible digital video recorder. This technology offers the potential of real cost savings through the reduction of cabling infrastructure whilst providing flexibility for retro-fit applications by allowing existing equipment to be upgraded quickly and easily.
